Blue Mountains and the Three Sister

Pretty Skies though it was almost freezing the day we went to the Blue Mountains. The Blue Mountains is a region about an hour and half outside of Sydney.  It is beautiful bush (aka forest) region and it automatically made me think that I just landed in Jurassic Park. According to some dinosaurs once roamed here but according to me.. I think I should go back in the spring and try and find the dinosaurs that live there today. The Blue Mountains are home to the Three Sister rocks. My friend Natalie said it was lame but I found it was totally awesome because the rocks and the draping backdrop of trees and mountains just made the whole think look like something out of an Epic novel.

The Pals- "The Cul-de-sac-Kids" & The Coolest Kid - Nico

well what is there to say.... hmm see collage..

They are pretty much the most creative, tightest, open, and most dramatic group of friends I have ever meet. You have to have special invitation to hang out with them but when you get it, you better use it.. cause i will guarantee it will be a memorable trip to visit a small island were the time is always 2:11 and energy comes in sparks or from a very dangerous STEEL RESERVE.  BEWARE if you see a DEER around run for the nearest exist cause danger will lay ahead.

The Coolest Kid of them all is Nicole.  Nico wins the coolest of cool kids award because she can play just about everything instrument, she is funny as chickens on ices, and her youtube video, well i can watch those for days...

Ladies Night Out: New Moon

Event: New Moon Opening Night
Location: Big Newport Theater, Newport Beach
Photos and Collages: by GalPalVal
Attendents: Galpalval, TayTay, Sister Crys, LilValerie, Baby Gurl Bri, Amber, Amber, Kristina, and TheDuke Christine. Supervised by : Miss Snyder

The New Moon premier was like one big slumber party. We got a double feature with Twilight and then New Moon. Loved cardboard cut out of Edward that we took pics with, how the contest of you look Jacob made boys rip their shirts off, and all the custom made shirts. Loved that it was totally a family affair for everyone including tay sister and my sister.

So, it was my first time watching Twilight on the big screen and it made me remember how much I love the theater experience. HD, BlueRay, and Bomb as Flatscreens will never compare to watching a film with a group of strangers on a massive screen.. and well yelling, cheering, and giggling with a couple hundred other people always adds to your love for a movie. For this crowd though it was high pitched screaming was the choice of communicate. Though I have to say it seemed like forever till I got to see New Moon.

New Moon was pretty much everything I had hoped it would be. They pretty much let the fans know they were going to raise the standard and stay true to the story, and everyone said perfect. Ha but it was like the best side dish ever. It fills you up a little bit but has you acheing cause you know the main dish, Eclipse is next. Ecplise, midnight showing Spring 2010 anyone? Ha and no we did not wait in line for hours. Who do you think we are?

Downtown LA Art walk and the night that was

Event: Downtown LA Art Walk and Aliens

Date: November 12, 2009
Attendents: Pal TayTay, and Galpal Val aka me
Pictures and Edit by Taylor and Collage by Me
Food:  Rockets!  Excellent

It was cool but super crowded and expect the scensters up in the business. Best part of the night were these shameless pictures with this gold hat. The artist is super cool and will be at the bottom of taylor's loft building for the rest of the month.  Gotta love that he let him play with his hat and dance with his bear.

@ Continental Gallery 400 Spring.

Loved my favorite graffiti gallery.  Their exhibits never disappoint @ Crewest on 10 Winston St.  Every time I stroll in there I want grab a can of spray paint and tag it up.  Thats were the crazy skulls are from pictured on the right.

Highlight/ Done After: The theater of death and drug exhibit.. t was pretty cool.. but way creepy. they used this old theater and filled it witch a dust cloud smoke played creepy music and so how managed to weird you out in like 1 min

The rest of the evening is the REAL story:
We ate at Rockets and it was way yummy and filling. Salad was bomb, prices reasonable.  Our lil bellies needed a rest so we went up to loft to get cozy and chill.  At this point the plan is I am going home and she is going to Weho. So not what happened.

First we are sitting staring out on to the pretty lights of downtown and looking into windows when we notice this building where all the rooms in the same level a strobing out except for the hall ways in the building.  As we ponder whether there was a massive rave or aliens ate the brains of all the residents and took it over their home we heard a band outside.  So we grab  the DVD to return at the video store and go downstairs.  These two guys are rocking out on the street.  They have an electric guitar, Microphone, Amp, and Belts, hooked up to car battery!!  Plus a full drum set. They get points for being hardcore artists and working it out on the street. Oh and their music definately rocked.  As we were dancing on the street we run into a friend who suggests we meet La Cita.  After changing , running, and almost jumping over some homeless people, then running back for more cash, cause in some weird world we had to pay a cover (weird i know), then running back we finally get into the bar. It was pretty scenster and packed. The dance battle we started pretty much was the shit and there was some fun competition.

Night ends and I walk taylor home.  Freak out driving home first because well I dont like the drive through the toy district cause well factories, night and homeless people freak me out.   So at this points its Friday the 13th of November 2am, thats is when I hydro plane and spin out on the freeway.  I did not hit anything,  got home in one piece and just had the shakes for two days.  I would say forsure that Im pretty sure I have had my Friday the 13th experience and I will pretty much stay inside for alll others.  Love yea.
